It was pretty low key this year (kind of like Lance)! :) We started with breakfast. Sophie wanted to make him blueberry buckwheat pancakes and she did. They were delicious. He opened up his gifts, a new watch from me (I think that is number 13), workout socks and shirt from the girls. After Stake Conference, he was actually able to take a nap...almost unheard of for him on Sundays!
Unfortunately, he had to make his own main course because he wanted pulled pork done in his smoker. He's the expert at that so I let him take care of it. I did make the rest for him, including homemade buns, something he'd been craving for a while! Aren't they pretty?
Dinner was yummy and the mango pie afterwards was pretty delicious too!
A great day for a great dad!
