Babyhood Ends!

Is babyhood officially over when they turn 2 or when they are out of diapers?  I'm not sure, but either way I guess Riley will always be the baby! 

She did turn 2 this year though, and we wanted to make her day special!  The only thing we could do for this Dora the Explorer crazed toddler was to completely Dorarize the house! When she woke up and came down stairs she was completely ensconced by everything Dora!  She loved it.  All her gifts were Dora wrapped in Dora paper, her cake was Dora and she enjoyed as much Dora on TV as she could take in!  It was great!  She really knew something was different about that day!

 We went to the park and let her play as much as she wanted (wearing a Dora shirt of course).

We had hotdogs and strawberries for dinner...her favorites... followed by birthday cake and ice cream!

 

And finally she ended the day with some chocolate milk, relaxing in her new Dora chair watching, what else, but Dora!

Oh has this little one been a handful since birth.  But at 2 years old, she is (finally) a super sweet, super fun little addition to our family.  Life wouldn't be the same without her.  She still loves to snuggle, she loves her sisters, she loves to laugh and dance!  She is our sweet baby!
